Borneo, 2011

A Sierra Club trip to an iconic island of primeval rainforests, home to orangutans, pigmy elephants, and leeches. Sadly, it has taken less than three decades for Borneo to become more than 50% deforested, with lush rainforests turned into oil palm plantations.
